End of year - December 2006

One thing I've discovered is this page has a more than passing similarity to Jabba the Hutt, Both require constant feeding. If this WAS however Jabba he'd be down to a size 8 about now. I'm neglected the site. I apologise.

One of the reasons is that "the Community" has launched it's own site now so there I've been focusing on that a bit.

That's the link there. It shows the awesome cast. Did I mention they're awesome?

I'll make it up to everyone in the next few weeks. I HAVE been doing some art and that's what this site was all about: displaying my work.

Another bit of new over the last few weeks has been the pulp faction for PM competition.

Rules were pretty simple. A full page ad to promote your character for Prime Minister.

My favourite zombie Bones O'Brien entered the fray. Here's his page. painted with ArtRage.

The campaign was awesome, special mention goes to Jacen Carpenter, who i'm a massive fan of. He helped elevate the campaign into a real political stouch with scandals aplenty! He also, by giving his votes, allowed Bones to win by preferences!

As Bones would say "Huzzah!"

I also promise next post will feel less like a 15 year old girl's myspace post.

Community Update - 3 October 2006

Auditions have all wrapped up now so in the next few weeks we'll be locking in our cast and at that point we'll be relaunching the Community website with something a little flashier and probably a new domain name. Things are getting very exciting around here.

The Community! - September 2006

We're smack in the middle of casting at the moment. It really is amazing how even a few actors can show you such a wide range of options in regards to a character. I'm like a kid in a candy store. Everybody is just so impressive!

If you don't know what I'm talking about when I say "The Community" then bolt over to the section now and you may just learn something. And by learning that you'll have pushed out something really useful from your brain. That's always fun!

The back up plan- September 2006

II did 24 pages of comic earlier this year in 24 hours. It was a LOT of fun but I was completely exhausted at the end. However I had a cunning plan to do more than 24 pages if I had the strength. It was basically going to be a series of 4 panel strips where only the punchline changes (pretty sneaky and lazy of me eh?). I finally got around to actually doing a few and will post them here over the next few weeks. They're only quick so excuse the shoddy art.
